Ancient Energies is led by Puma, an Andean spiritual healer and teacher who was trained from the age of 6 in the traditions of the Qetchwa people by his grandfather, a spiritual elder and altomasayoq. He is recognized as a holder of ancient wisdom.

He is a natural leader and teacher who and has played an active role on both international and indigenous councils, inspiring many hundreds of people with a deep reverence for Pachamama (Earth Mother) and an ancient understanding of the Cosmos.

He is a member of the Elders Council in his own community, and a co-founder of Cusi Huayna, which connects today’s youth with traditional dance, story and weaving. He has been a member of World Wisdom Council, whose honorary chair is Mikhail Gorbachyev, and was active in Youth for Environmental Sanity, and forums for the survival of indigenous cultu.

Puma has a passion for bringing the teachings of his people into the modern world, which he does easily and with rare wisdom, compassion and open-heartedness. Puma’s gift lies in the ability to open people’s hearts firstly to themselves, then to their family and ultimately to their global community. Wherever he is, Puma inspires others with his vision of what is possible, and his confidence that the traditional wisdom holds valuable teachings for global harmony and healing.
